    Hi everyone!
    I’ve been trying to piece together the solution using help from other threads, but because all themes are different, I can’t get mine to work.
    I’m using the default wordpress kubrick theme at philtyler.info

    I would like borders around each of the widgets like in the site https://generationwhy.tv/

    As you can see, I managed to get a box around the whole thing which is nice. I then found how to add lines between each of the elements/widgets. But to actually box each element is something different.

    Here is the stylesheet.
    ‘/* Begin Typography & Colors */
    body {
    font-size: 62.5%; /* Resets 1em to 10px */
    font-family: ‘Lucida Grande’, Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    background: #d5d6d7 url(‘images/kubrickbgcolor.jpg’);
    color: #333;
    text-align: center;
    }

    #page {
    background-color: white;
    border: 1px solid #959596;
    text-align: left;
    }

    #header {
    background: #73a0c5 url(‘images/kubrickheader.jpg’) no-repeat bottom center;
    }

    #headerimg {
    margin: 7px 9px 0;
    height: 192px;
    width: 740px;
    }

    #content {
    font-size: 1.2em;
    }

    .widecolumn .entry p {

  • Try adding

    .widget {
    background-color:#cccccc;
    border:2px solid #333333;
    color:#000000;
    margin:15px 0 20px;
    padding-bottom:10px;
    }

    to the end of your style sheet. You can adjust the colours to suit.

    hi philtyler,

    I like this.

    So I tried applying the <class=”widget”> in the sidebar.php.
    Nothing!
    Could you please explain where and how to apply this class
    Thanks.
