• I just upgraded to 3.5. Now, when I edit a page where I have headlines in another font color, it removes the color and makes all headlines black when I do simple things like backspace or delete.

  • What theme are you using and where did you download it from?

I use the GoPress from wxexplorer.com. I updated to 3.5 as an auto update on my dashboard. I haven’t had this problem before now.

I’m sorry but as your chosen theme is only available for download behind a login, you will need to contact the theme’s developer directly for support.

I’ve just discovered the same problem and did a web search to see if anyone else had reported it.

I’m using a premium WP theme from Elegant Themes. Everything seems fine as long as I don’t delete a character that I’ve assigned a custom color. Then all the fonts on the page with custom color go back to the default color. My header colors are set in the stylesheet, so they don’t change.

I’m a non-techie do-it-yourselfer and have no idea how such a thing is possible. Is there a fix for this?

I’m sure someone will be able to help you, Charla, but you ought to create your own thread on the issue.

Thanks for the advice, Andrew; I’ll do that. I’m seldom here; so I don’t know how things work.

    Happy New Year!

    EDITED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING:

I just took a look at the forum rules, and it says if you have a problem that’s already posted, you shouldn’t open your own. So I’ll wait to see if an answer comes here before I post a new topic.

Yeah, that’s kind of confusing, but my take is that that means that you should look for a solution that works for you before posting your issue. And technically, your problem isn’t identical to the OP — you’d need to be using the same theme, same server, same plug-ins, etc. So a new thread really is the way to go :).

Same thing is happening to me. I use Woo Themes for 1 site and Studiopress for another. It happens on both and only since updating to version 3.5. Has a new thread been opened? Does anyone have an answer yet?

@fastbodyblast – you need to start your own thread – that’s the point. Please start on the troubleshooting steps in this thread:

and if you’d like additional help, do start a new thread. If it looks like the problem is with your themes, you’ll need to contact studiopress and WooThemes — as they support their commercial themes, but these forums don’t.
