limiting viewers of blog

Hi,

We are planning to use blogs for a class that I teach and I want to be able to limit who can see the blogs to only those students in the class. The same people who can post would also be the only ones who should be able to read the blogs. Is there a way to do that? Someone mentioned that it might be done through the user levels but I’m not sure . . .
