Dashboard is loading weird

  • The dashboard will load like it normally would, then the page will go blank and it will continue to load forever. Thanks for the help.

  • All admin pages or just the dashboard?..

    I assume you can login ok, so could you check another admin url to see if it’s all admin pages, or just the dashboard page, it’ll narrow down the possibilities.

    Example url:
    example.com/wp-admin/options-general.php

    If that page loads ok, then it could be a widget you’ve got loaded in the dashboard causing a problem.

    Additionally if you’ve not tested disabling plugins and switching theme, it’s always handy to check those things, as they’re the 2 most common causes of WordPress related problems in my experience. It wouldn’t hurt to know which version of WordPress you’re using to.
