• I’ve done a fresh install of 3.8.1 for a site that had a previous old wordpress version. Since updating none of the admin menu links or any functions work. Instead I get a loading panel that never goes away. (You can see in the link below) I can’t deactivate plugins or anything. I can view admin pages by right clicking into a new tab however this doesnt help when I need to do something on that page! Is this an ajax issue?

I am having the same issue, but with an installation that was upgraded. I am unable to change any settings. Instead, I am presented with an ajax loading bar that never goes away.

I eventually fixed mine by removing all the plugins and putting them back in one by one and installing the offending one fresh with the latest update.
