3.8.1 not sending posts to subscribers

  • This morning our blog was auto updated to 3.8.1. I published a post, and it was not sent to our subscribers. Also, the photo used in the post replaced the feature photo on the blog.

    Please let me know how I can send this post out to our subscribers.

    WordPress doesn’t have any built-in features to send posts to subscribers. What plugin are you using for this functionality?

    Regarding this:

    The Twenty Eleven theme uses the Featured Image for each post to replace the banner on that posts page. This is a feature of the theme. To remove it, edit the post and remove the Featured Image selection.
