I just wanted to give you guys a heads up about a problem I had and how I fixed it.

I upgraded to 3.9 through the dashboard and after the upgrade I got the dreaded white screen of death. I then uploaded 3.9 manually through FTP and that didn’t work.

I had a nagging suspicion WP Super Cache was behind the problem. I deleted the Super Cache folder and it worked. I then installed W3 Total Cache and have not had a problem.

    Hope this helps.

It was probably a stuck cache, and reinstalling wp super cache would have been fine. If possible, when that happens start by JUST deleting the cache folder (wp-content/cache/)

    You are correct.

On another blog I have I deleted the cache on WP Super Cache before the update and had no problem this time.

My WordPress 3.9 site crashed a few days ago when I was simply clicking to view WP Supercache under the Dashboard Settings. White screen of death. I reuploaded all my WP files which fixed the problem.
