3.9 editor removes ?

  • 3.9 editor has been only trouble by now and i am in great need for help here.

    I am using a custom theme I’ve built, but the site’s content manager doesn’t know html at all.

    Since the upgrade the wp editor is inserting brakes (hitting the enter key) as empty <p> paragraphs.

    I need it to insert &nbsp;? instead. (or even </br>)

    more so- if i go to “text view” and insert the &nbsp;? manually they are erased after updating or after going to visual view.

    I am not using any editor plugins, and would prefer to solve this without one, if possible.

  • WordPress wont admit they messed up the visual editor and keep blaming our themes and plugins now.

    I think WordPress should bring back whats working for millions other than choosing for whats working for hundreds.

    I 100% agree. I just need a solution now. I make a living from wordpress and have really angry clients ??
    Any ideas?
