• Hi, I’m trying edit the appearance of some pages on my site by hiding the Default Sidebar on the page. However, after unchecking the option and hitting Update, the settings returned to the previous (before unchecking) after the page refreshed.

In fact, I can’t seem to change anything under the Theme Options for pages. Other options (Publish, Page attributes etc) works fine. The Theme Options also seems to work when updating posts.

    Kindly assist. Thank you.

What theme? Also, might be helpful to post in that theme’s forum specifically, ask the theme author.

I constructed the theme using Artisteer, and I have posted it up to them. Currently waiting for a reply. So I’m trying to find possible solutions in the mean time.

If I share the theme here, can you take a look at what’s wrong? It does behave like a permission issue.

I still can’t solve this. But I found that this problem only occurs with older pages (pre 3.9). New pages written after 3.9 don’t have this problem.

Wondering if a solution was figured out on this. I’m running Artisteer also and can’t change Theme Options either. I’ve reached out to Artisteer and waiting on word from them. Any help would be appreciated. Thx

@scottat – are you using WP3.9? Hope not, it’s not secure. And since this seems specific to your theme, Artististeer will be the ones to help you – as these forums only support themes from this site.

Try deactivating your plugins and switching to a default theme to see if it’s something other than your theme. If it turns out to be, please start a new thread.

    Got it. Makes sense. Thx
