• I love this new Search Engine feature. It searches tags fine but when it displays the results, the thumbnails have a link value for the search page result, rather than the individual image page.

Anybody have any idea how to resolve this?

The site I’m developing is currently local or I’d post links.

Also, if the search is the same as an album name (search for “cartoons” and album is also called “cartoons”), the search returns nothing. No content at all.

    Help!

How about only doing a search and having Nexgen use the Tag fields, rather than file name and description field??? That would be nice.

Agreed, although I’m just happy having the images searchable to be frank.

It would also be great if ‘excluded’ images could also be tag searched, opening up bigger photo CMS possibilities.

If it’s what I think you mean, you want to display search results of galleries (pages) that images are on, not just the image results themselves.

    A workaround I did was:

    – Install the Simple Tags plugin, this lets you add tags to pages exactly as you can in posts.

    – Add the tags you want to your gallery pages.

    – Run a search (like this one on my site) and, as you’ll see, it should pop up in the non-image results (in my case, the “Foto Sets and Article Results”).

    Hope that helps. ??
