    Hi team,

Right after updating to the latest plugin version(4.0.24) my website broke and I was not able to access it anymore – after deactivating the plugin via wp cli the site came back to normal again.
This was the message that I received from WordPress:

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin
or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this
    automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, EasyAzon.

First, visit your website and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught and check for any visible
    issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue
    further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally,
WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to
    your dashboard and investigate further.

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about
that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again
    after it expires.

    Error Details
    =============
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 44 of the file
    /wp-content/plugins/easyazon/easyazon.php. Error message:
    require_once(): Failed opening required
    ‘/wp-content/plugins/easyazon/vendor/autoload.php’
    (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’)

I took a look at the latest version files and I was not able to find the /wp-content/plugins/easyazon/vendor/autoload.php file that is mentioned in the e-mail.

    Yours,
    Victor

Another of our websites was broken too because of this. Please take a look as fast as you can.

    Thanks!

Hello Victor, I’m personally looking into this and will get back to you asap.

If you need to download the old version temporarily here’s the link:
    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/easyazon.4.0.22.zip

Note: If you’re a premium customer please contact our support that way and we’ll assist you there so we can look up your email and dive into more detail otherwise I’ll still continue to support you here.

    Hey Victor,

Sorry for the initial issue. Please download this manually and update:
    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/easyazon.4.0.24.zip

This issue should be resolved now. If you auto-update from within your other sites that should work as well.

I’m monitoring this thread closely, but can you please confirm when the issue is resolved on your end?

    Thank you

    Hey Victor,

I just confirmed this should be resolved now and I’m very sorry again for the initial issue. To close the loop, if you get a chance to reply to confirm everything is good to go that would be great.

    Thanks

I’m going to mark this as resolved. We’ve been monitoring the other support channels and everything looks good so far. We also pushed another new update to address a minor unrelated fix.

If this isn’t working for you, please reply again here and I’ll be happy to help.
