    It appears since the auto-updating of this plugin, I am now getting the below error.

    [17-Jul-2020 02:08:44 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'type' in /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/essential-addons-for-elementor-lite/includes/Traits/Generator.php on line 229
    [17-Jul-2020 02:08:44 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'context' in /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/essential-addons-for-elementor-lite/includes/Traits/Generator.php on line 229
    [17-Jul-2020 02:08:44 UTC] PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'file' in /home/MYUSER/public_html/wp-content/plugins/essential-addons-for-elementor-lite/includes/Traits/Generator.php on line 229

    I tried changing PHP versions from 7.3 to 7.4 with no luck – error still shows. As this is on a live website I cannot have errors showing, so I’ll get dev site up if you want to test on our server.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Worth mentioning this exact same issue has happened on like 10 of my website I own. So it’s not like it’s happening on one website. Lodged a ticket via Developer’s Website.

    Hi there,

    I am really sorry to hear about the issue you are facing. Could you please try again after clearing cache ? Also please make sure you are using the latest version of Elementor and Essential addons.

    And then to regenerate assets, you can go to wp-admin -> Essential Addons then, switch to the ‘Tools’ tab and hit the ‘Regenerate Assets’ button. Check out this

    Also, make sure to Regenerate Files from wp-admin -> Elementor -> Tools as well. Then, check back.

    If you are using caching plugin, you need to purge the cache from your plugin option.

    Hopefully it will fix the issue. Let me know how it goes.

    Thank you.

    Hi @optimiseonline ,
    I just checked on my end with new version(4.1.0) by changing PHP version both 7.3 and 7.4 with define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );
    I didn’t find any PHP Warning or Error on my end.
    As you mentioned you already logged a ticket here: https://wpdeveloper.net/support/new-ticket/
    We will look over it and let you know. Thanks!

    Hi, there. How are you doing? We have responded back to your ticket through our support channel. But we haven’t heard back from you yet.

    Can you please confirm whether your issue has been resolved or not? Make sure that you have the latest EA PRO version 4.1.0 on your website.

    Thank you!

    @optimiseonline,

    Due to your lack of response, I suppose your issue has been resolved. I am closing this ticket.

    Thank you!

    Same exact issue

    So I just finally updated and yes, what a mess – Warning: Illegal string offset ‘file’ in /home4/mckeem1/public_html/2019/wp-content/plugins/essential-addons-for-elementor-lite/includes/Traits/Generator.php on line 242

    So – help?

    I had to roll back to 3.9.4 and that is working. So I will hold there until I hear about a fix.

    same issue anyone get this sorted yet?
