4.6 on php 7.1 broken theme/admin page

  • Hi,

    I have just installed wordpress on a shared hosting with php 7.1.

    I can view the hello world article and the wp-admin and login.

    All javascript functions and theme/style of backend are broken.

    I simply see a list of links but not the usual wordpress admin theme.

    I can include a link if necessary.

  • A link may not help if the issue is within your back-end/dashboard (/wp-admin in the URL). No one can access that but you. A link to a screenshot perhaps?

    7.0 works
    5.6 works

    I will use 7.0 for now. I hope it doesnt have problems. I dont think we can fix it because it looks like inside wordpress/php.

    Yeah.. I think PHP 7.1 is only in “release candidate” status for now. The usual “bug reporting” and version testing caveats might still be applicable for now as far as 7.1 is concerned. Just out of curiosity, is your site hosted somewhere that is offering 7.1 as an option, or is this a “localhost” installation?

    I am using jupiter theme with wordpress and for some reason even after doing all the minification and optimisation with wp rocket my web site is still slow and i can’t figure out why … can some one plz help ?
