Hi, since upgrade from 4.5.4 to 4.5.8

If members post a comment with an attachment then only administrator can see it in lightbox
Logged in users and guest get the following error…

Sorry !! There’s no media found for the request !

Any idea how to fix this issue? Many thanks in advance

PS: Latest versions of WP, BP, Twenty Twelve theme

In fact all is right until 4.5.8 (downgraded to 4.5.7 without issue)

    Hi @marialka

I could not replicate the issue you mentioned with the latest rtmedia version(4.5.8)

Can you please confirm if that works for you now?

If you have any further query, please create a new support ticket here – https://rtmedia.io/support/

    Hi @marialka

This scenario you explained will happen in a case when you don’t enable privacy. Please enable the privacy from rtMedia Settings > Privacy

After you enable privacy, this issue will no longer exist!

Please let me know if you need further assistance!

    Thanks,

    Krupa

Hi @krupajnanda sorry I’m very late

In fact it seems fixed only if in profile but not in groups!

    Hi @marialka ??

I hope you are doing good!

We have not added any kind of fix for the privacy-related things! Can you please confirm if we are on the same page?

I am requesting you to open a ticket on our support channel for further communication – https://rtmedia.io/support

    Have a nice day ahead!

    Hi @krupajnanda,

Followed your advise ?? Enabled rtMedia’s Privacy settings (default: public)

All is right if update is published in member’s profile wall but… not in groups (the following alert still displayed: “Sorry !! There’s no media found for the request !!” when users aren’t administrator)

In database (table: rt_rtm_media), privacy = -1 (it should be 0 isn’t?) in this case!

PS: Related to ‘public’ group ?? of course

    (@krupajnanda)

    Hi @marialka

For anything related to privacy for groups, please make sure that the privacy of the media will be followed as per the privacy of the group. So if the group is private then the privacy of the media remains private.

I hope that will clear your doubts!

    Regards,

    Krupa

Yes @krupajnanda but our groups ‘re public then media should be public

NB: in member profile’s wall, all is right but still not in (public) group!

    Thread Starter MarialKa

    (@marialka)

When trying to see media in lightbox

PHP Notice: Trying to get property 'id' of non-object in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-media/app/main/controllers/template/rtmedia-functions.php on line 336

    NB: If not administrator

    @marialka,

I hope you are doing good.

Can you please share the visual or screenshot of the problem you are facing at your end wit the steps you followed?

It will be easier for us to understand the problem better.

    Have a nice day.

    Regards,
    Krupa
