• Hello,

I recently updated the version of the theme I’m using on my WordPress-based site. I’d like to tweak the html a bit to my specifications in my stylesheet and other files like the footer, header, etc. however every time I make an edit and try to “update the file” I get taken to a “404 Error – Page not Found” page.

I’ve changed the permissions on all my files, deleted plug ins, and also deleted the previous version of the theme I had, and am completely at a loss.

Does anyone have any much appreciated advice they could dispense? Are there any files I need to delete to get my theme files to work again? What could the problem be?

When I downloaded the zip file of the theme to update it, I changed the folder name – could this be the problem?

Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!
