4.0 Upgrade and Media Pathways not working

  • In the new gallery media mode. Click on Media Library, and all of my images are now a grey box. Does anyone know how I can get them back?

    I’ve deactivated all my plug in’s, changed over theme’s – and nothing.

    If I copy and paste the URL of the file into my browser the image appears.
    Whereas – If I add an existing picture to featured image, it doesn’t feature on the page (a blog etc)

    If I upload a new image – this works fine.

    Any ideas – thanks

    To add…

    For some reason the gallery media library is pointing to…
    https://www.kevinfield.co.uk/wp-includes/images/media/default.png

    Which is not where it should be pointing to with the media files.

    Check your WP Admin Dashboard > Settings > Media and check the following two items to be sure they are correctly set.

    Store uploads in this folder
    Full URL path to files <<< This says optional, but you may need to set it since you are having problems.

    This is just a quick thought on this – hopefully it helps ??

    I’ve had a look in WP Admin Dashboard > Settings > Media. All I have is Image Sizes and Uploading Files as any discernible options.
