I’m specifically testing the registration form embed. I’ve attempted both the shared application and also our own gotowebinar application and after a day (with no registration form use), both options result in a “400 invalid_grant – The provided authorization grant is invalid.” with the plugin no longer being able to access the API.

I’m finding that a 400 error typically isn’t a server-side error, so I’m thinking it may be on my wordpress end.

What steps can I take to remedy this error?

    Thank you.

    Hi @brentwgraham,

I received an email about possible interruptions to GoToWebinar’s API so this could be the issue. I can only recommend at this stage to re-authenticate. I also don’t recommend having a staging server with the plugin installed and authenticated as this can cause issues with a live site.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your reply. Okay, good to know, I’ll keep my eyes peeled. At this point we’re testing it on the live site before we begin using the plugin, I’m a little worried about downtime hurting signups. :/

In the future, if there are issues on goto’s side, is a manual re-authentication needed? Any possibility of auto-reauthenticating or receiving an email notification when an error occurs?

    Great plugin btw.

Just as a follow up. After successful re-authentication, the plugin now works while I’m signed in (will give it a few days testing to see if the 400_grant error returns) – But the registration form only shows when I’m signed into wordpress, once I sign out and view the page as though I’m a guest I get “The webinar either no longer exists or an error has occured.”

Probably check out your caching settings.

    I’m an idiot. Thank you.

If this plugin can run this coming week without that weird 400 error I’m certainly buying it. Thank you for your work and service here. Very much appreciated.
