403 Could not switch users.

    Any idea what would cause a user switching error suddenly when it previously worked?

    I have a Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 () console error.

    The 403 error is probably not related but something you’ll need to investigate anyway.

    What’s the exact error message you see when you try to switch to a user?

    All it says is “Could not switch users.” I haven’t turned on debug yet because it’s a high-traffic site.

    Hi, I copied the site to staging and user switching worked an the 403 error was not present. I think there must be some configuration on the live server that is blocking it.

    Do you know of any potential conflicts? Thanks.

    This turned out to be related to server caching.
