403 error. Forbidden on all pages

  • When I try to set this plugin up it all seems to work great in preview mode and for logged in users. Anybody else will be locked out of the site entirely by a 403 error.

    I’ve tried many different settings to find the cause of the problem but the only remedy seems to be disabling w3 total cache completely. As long as it is doing anything, the site goes on total lockdown.

    It’s a hell of lot faster but not really what I was looking for. Any idea why this happens or how to stop it from happening?

    It seems like there’s a permissions issue with the cache files. I recommend asking your host about that issue.
