403 Error – No Access At All?
-
Hello everyone,
It had been a long time since I last posted anything new on my site. Then, about a month ago, I decided to go back to it and check to see if I could draw some ideas from old posts and put up something new. However, what happened was that the moment I tried going to the URL
I got an error page, very simply saying that I had no permission and that a 403 error occurred. I have no idea what happened. After checking my hosting account (2freehosting.com), I discovered that my account had been “suspended” for exceeding the CPU quota too many times, something which I was not aware of. Since then, I’ve asked my host to restore access to my files.
Following my request, my host said that the problem had been “fixed” for my account. Also, apparently, my site worked perfectly fine on my host’s end during testing. However, I’m still getting 403 errors and furthermore, my account is still “suspended”, or at least, so says the page in my cPanel.
Presently, I’m still waiting for my host to give me an answer on what is wrong. Meanwhile, does anyone have suggestions on how I might fix this? Just as a point to note: I have absolutely no access to the site, as far as I can tell. Not by the URL or even via FTP. Does anyone know another way in to the site? Is there anyone else with experience with 2Freehosting who can give me advice?
