403 error when attempting to download backup

Hi there! Which Uploads folder are you referring to? The wp-content/uploads folder or the one of the Backupguard folders?

Also this error reoccurs on all browsers.

Please, contact your hosting and tell them that you have a symlink issue and get error 403. They should be able to assist you with it.
Meanwhile, you can download the backup via FTP.
All backups and related stuff can be found in the following directory.
/wp-content/uploads/backup-guard/

I have had the permissions updated and am still experiencing the issue.

Please, replace the following file SGBackup.php in the ‘ wp-content/plugins/backup/com/core/backup ‘ directory.

Once this is done, please, enable Download via PHP option and try downloading again.
