I like the airi theme and have used it on a number of sites. Lately, I have been encountering an error message when trying to save edits to a page. A 403 error is seen sometimes. I have tried using the classic editor as an answer but that does not stop the problem. When using blocks, it reports a json error when the problem occurs.

I have the latest version of wordpress and the latest version of the theme. I have tried resetting permalinks, checked file permissions but no joy. If I make an edit using elementor and save it that, it works. But changes to the page… page attributes, yoast, etc can only be done through wordpress. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?

I have used an abundance of different themes on different sites and this is the only theme where I have encountered this problem.

  • Hi,

I did testing and couldn’t reproduce this issue.

Did you get the issue while adding particular content/block into the editor? Did you test with default blocks?

I need more information to help in getting the root of trouble, may I request sharing your links to pastebin.com for:

    1. Site’s info copy from Dashboard > Site Health > Info
    2. Site’s debug log, that may appear while WP_DEBUG_LOG is enabled.

    Hello Kharis,

Tks for your reply. I tried all of those things and no errors were detected. That led me to try other avenues and I discovered that it was due to mod security set up by my host. I got white listed and problem solved.

The odd thing is that the problem appeared in an unconsistent way. Sometimes all would work fine and then suddenly not.
