403 error when saving a form

    I’m building a new website on localhost, clean install of WP 6.0.1, Blocksy theme, latest CF7 (5.6.1). When I create my first contact form and click on ‘Save’ I get a 403 error. I have another working site, also on localhost (and on a live server) with the same theme, WP and CF7 all updated, where I can save a new form with no problem. The URL giving the error is

    https://…/wordpress/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpcf7&post=-1

    I notice a similar problem was posted 8 months ago and not resolved.

    I’ve reverted to an earlier version of CF7 (5.1.4) which gives the same error.

    Solved! In setting up the new website I had copied wp-config.php from another site, in which the constant WPCF7_ADMIN_READ_CAPABILITY had been redefined for reasons particular to that site.
