For the error, check your site’s error log on the sever. That will give you the actual reason or description for the error. Without that info, there is nothing I can do. Also the chat box on your site requires login, so currently not possible to take a look.

Thank you for your response. I changed the setting so you can chat without signing in. I have a difficult client who will not give me her goDaddy pin so I can access the php files. I’m sure I need to check the php setting. However, I can access the simple-ajax-chat-core.php script within WordPress.

Thank you Karen, but it still says “You must be a registered user to participate in this chat.”

I tested the page in a different and was logged out. I still received the same message. I’m sure it’s the PHP script.

Yeah it looks like the server is not able to load sac.php file. You can examine/verify this using the browser’s code inspector.

    Hi Jeff,
I hope you had a great holiday. I’ve searched for a chat plugin that meets my needs and yours is the ONLY one that does what I need for my client. Please let me know what needs to be done to get the sac.php file to load.

    Thank you for your help!

Thanks. Inspecting the page code with a browser, it shows the following error:

“Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403”

To determine “why” it’s happening, check your site’s error log on the sever. That will give you the actual reason or description for the error. Without that info, there is nothing I can do.
