• Hi,

I’m having a problem with saving option changes in the presentation tab. I installed the veryplaintxt theme and it works well. When I go into the Presentation tab and into veryplaintxt Options, if I click Store Options I get:

    Forbidden

You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/themes.php on this server.

This may also be useful: (from the bottom of the veryplaintxt Options page)

veryplaintxt has been created by Scott Allan Wallick. This administration menu uses WordPress Theme Toolkit by Ozh. And everything was made possible thanks to WordPress.

    for veryplaintxt

I tried several edits of the database as pointed to in several threads but it didn’t help, I didn’t think the problem was located there since everything else in wordpress works.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

  • Could you drop your host a note and ask if they are running mod_security?

Wouldn’t that affect everything though? For example, I can go into the theme editor and manually edit the css file (which is what I’ve been doing in the mean time) and I can edit profiles and whatnot.

    I’ll look into mod_security thanks.

Would that affect everything else? Nah. Totally depends on how it’s configured and what it’s looking for as “bad words”.

Do some searching here for mod_security. We’ve had some truly weird stuff related to it.
