    Hello,

After downloading a custom login plugin I forgot my password. Unfortunately, the forgot password link on the new log in page did not send me to the correct URL which prevented me from requesting a new one.

Unable to go down this route, I persisted at trying to remember the variation of characters I used. I believe I may have locked myself out and wordpress thinks Im a bot of some kind?

I used FTP to delete the plugin in question, get back to a normal log in screen (via a proxy) and change my password.

However, I’m unable to log in on the normal page or by proxy because of 403 permission denied errors. I’m sure my site is still working because it loads through a proxy, but logging in via this method will not work.

How do I communicate to wordpress that it was me and to stop this restriction?

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.
