Hi, I’m not sure if this is your plugin or not, but I’m suspecting it. My IP address has changed and now I can’t login with my Admin account. I get a 403 page from my host. I have a bunch of other WP security plugins, but I think I had something like this before it happened when I used a VPN. Some of the plugins I have I disabled because of conflict with this plugin, but I didn’t delete them. I see an entry in the database under usermeta. I see it contains my old IP address. Is that what this plugin is using? Are there other database entries I should edit? I haven’t touched the database yet. I have also copied and then removed the plugin folders for this plugin and another plugin and cleared the Cloudflare cache but I still can’t login. Further, the login page is different it isn’t centered like it should be and this happened when I used a VPN before so it’s exhibiting the same behavior with my normal Comcast IP. Never did this untill my Comcast IP changed. It’s like something doesn’t like my new IP address from Comcast. I’m wondering if there is a way to whitelist myself in the FTP directory?

Login Security Solution doesn’t do that.

So what is the purpose of the whitelist? I believe there is a whitelist.

Okay, there isn’t a whitelist. It’s another security plugin I’m using. Was able to get back into my WordPress. I had an .htaccess file in the WP admin folder that only allowed my IP address and that is what blocked me as I did not up date that IP to my new one. However, I just noticed now this has happened is that people who won’t have their IP listed in htaccess the login isn’t centered. I’ll have to inquire about this on the other subforum. I might just keep it off. I have all kinds of security here including a scrip called ZBblock that is pretty damn good.

LSS does have a white list, but LSS doesn’t do a 403 redirect. The white list is populated when users reset their passwords. It’s used when someone logs in during an attack. If they’re on the list they don’t have to go through the password reset process.
