404 again and nothing recommended so far works

    being used for ‘team’ listings… url is provided with /team/personsname when clicking it a 404 results, when clicking the view option in admin the 404 results, when acquiring the direct link ?p=490 redirects to the 404 result.
    flushed rewrite rules and tried re-saving the permalinks, no luck
    tried using post number which the theme just flat died with as it is all built relative with post titles
    stuck with this and cannot change it so it has to work.. any help will be greatly appreciated and yes i just saw the new posting on the same problem

    Ok that’s nice and i thank you but i don’t understand what it is that must be done to make the things work, clicking them now they don’t

    do you have a step process to make it happen?

    I didn’t leave any edits I made in place, and the only change I really did was comment out the add_action() line that’s used to register the taxonomy anyway.

    I’m recommending changing the slug used for the taxonomy in your functions.php. Something besides “teams”. “team_groups” perhaps? “team_organizations” ? Something without “team” in it?
