404 cached although set not to

  • I just switched from another popular cache plugin. Things seem to be working well, except for the 404 page. I have it set to “No, do NOT cache (or serve cached file) for 404 requests”. But it is caching and serving it. I tried toggling the setting (which deleted the whole cache), and when I went to a nonexistent URL, it cached it again.

    This wouldn’t be so bad, except for some reason the cached page has a heading with a particular blog post title, which is inappropriate.
