  • Hello,

Can you please let us know if you have created any page with the slug as “download”? Also, please go to the “Settings > Permalinks” menu, click “Save” button and test again. Let us know if that resolves the issue.

I had also 404-errors and to my surprise, this fixed it.

“Settings > Permalinks” menu, click “Save”

I have a similar issue. When I first add a file it works fine. 48 hrs+ later the permalink seems to ‘expire’ and I have to re-set things by using Settings -> Permalinks -> Save

I’ve check ed all the setting for the plugin and can’t find the issue. Permalink for regular pages don’t fail but permalinks created for the Download Monitor files do.

Every three days or so I have a client complain the files are inaccessible and the above is the only (temporary) solution.

Any suggestions for how can I permanently fix this?

    Download Monitor – Version 4.0.6
    Wordpress – Version 4.9.4
