404 Error

    Recently i’ve upgraded to 4.0 and my site hosted in my own server, now the problem is it is trowing 404 error on every page except home page, post and everything. and when i switch to default permalinks it’s working but when in use custom permalink or anything except default one like /%category%/%postname%/ and i’m running bucket theme and even contacted them but it is working with other site of mine and they are saying there is somhing wrong with my wordpress, if anyone faced this problem and if you resolved it let me know.

    Ok, and you have complete control over the machine?

    Do you have any directories or files in the WordPress directory besides the files and directories it comes with?

    What do you have set for the two URLs at Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard?
