While I check the Site Health could you try to attempt to add an extra character to your site title temporarily, such as an underscore?(Settings > General > Site Title). This change prompts Site Kit to collect fresh data for your current site). After doing so please attempt Site Kit set up once more.
If the same occurs after performing the check above, please share the following:
- What is the full URL you see when you land back on the 404 page? I ask as it may contain some references to your old site URL. If so, you can manually correct this with your current domain before continuing.
- Do you see any warnings or errors when checking yourSite Health status (Tools > Site Health > Status), which differs from your Site Health information requested above? Such errors may include REST endpoint references.
