404-error after completing the pop-up form

    Hello Optin-Cat,

    I’ve been using the pop-ups of Optin Cat for about two weeks now and suddenly I see my conversion rate dropping. Turns out that users go to a 404 error page after completing the form instead of going to the thank you page. Also the list is not updated. I’ve read the supportforum and tried these things:

    – Try a different thank you page
    – Made a complete new form
    – Tried a new API key
    – Tried using Firefox and Chrome
    – Tried different e-mailadresses
    – Switched off all plugins that could be switched off in order to test interference. I can’t switch off everything because I need the site to up and running. I see no plugins that should interfere with the Optin Cat form. Also I’ve tried the pop-up on different pages (blogpage, contactpage, etc.)
    (- I’m using the latest plugin and WP version.)

    And well, that’s all I could think of. Maybe you guys know something?

    Hi Mark,

    I’ve found most people that have had the issue you’re describing have either a plugin or theme that is not compatible with the WordPress 4.5 update (specifically the updated jQuery library).

    If you’re still experiencing this, I’d suggest checking your web browser’s console to see if there are any JavaScript errors, which may let you know what plugin or theme is causing the issue. If you can provide the URL of the site in question I can check for the same, if you’re unfamiliar with the (chrome/firefox) console.

    Thanks! It was indeed a problem with the theme itself. Appearently I missed the information about an update for the theme.

    I really love your apps. Better than other stuff around. So thanks for the help.
