404 error for all pages and posts

  • Hi, I built this site a few months ago, and for a while it was working fine. However, over the past week and a bit, we have encountered a problem where all the links and pages that were previously working before now return a 404 error.

    My gut feeling is that the web-host has done something to the server, but they insist that they haven’t done anything, bringing the problem back to me, even though I haven’t personally touched the site in a while.

    If you click on any of the links you will get a 404, and not the one you get with WordPress. I’ve already tried rebuilding the permalinks and updating the post-slugs but still no go.

    Any help would be much appreciated.
