  • I don’t think you can blame the iTSec plugin for doing this.
    The iTSec plugin simply logs such requests because I think you have enabled the iTSec “404 Detection” setting …

    For now you can whitelist the non existing pages in the “404 Detection” setting so that there are less 404 hits in the log. Probably over time the requests for these non existing pages will get less until they completely stop. Then cleanup the 404 whitelist …

    The only reason I can think of why these non existing pages are still requested is because visitors may still hold an old copy of your website in their browser cache.
    But who knows there may be plenty of other reasons …
    Google cache maybe …
