• Hi! I installed recently your xml plugin, but it shows a 404 error on all the links? What should I do? I turned off a sitemap module on Rank Math, which I used earlier. Thank you for your support!

One more questiom: how to make all my recent posts appear in Google News Sitemap? It shows only 1 post? How to add all of them? Or I need to refresh them?
    Thank you!

Hi Jenny, good to hear the redirect was solved.

A news sitemap will only hold posts from the last 48 hours as per google news sitemap rules. If you do not have any recent posts, the sitemap will default to the last one post. The news sitemap will only be helpful if your site is in Google News. Otherwise, it will probably generate an error on in your Google Search Console.

One thing I noticed: you may want to disable the Author sitemap from Settings > XML Sitemap because the author URL seems to be disabled by another plugin…

Hi! I have an issue with a sitemap: in my Google search console there is an error in coverage: 66 URLs marked ‘noindex’. These are urls with tags. How to avoid such an error> Maybe should I set up something in another way?
    Examples:
    https://mycattips.com/tag/can-cats-eat-cilantro/
    https://mycattips.com/tag/cat-covers-face-sleep/`

    Thank you!

Hi, in appears that these tag archive pages carry the “noindex” meta tag. This plugin does not provide this functionality so it must be coming from somewhere else. Are you using an SEO plugin?

In any case, the easiest option is to exclude tag archives from the sitemap. Just deactivate Tags on Settings > XML Sitemap.
