• Hi there,

I am trying to log into my website, and I have the plugin installed. All parts were working well, until I tried to log in today using the brute force url, and when username and password added, the page goes to 404 error rather than to dashboard.

I have contacted my reseller account helpline, and they say the plugin is blocking access. My customer support team have sent me the following message

The wp-admin folder does exist and should allow you to view it, but it looks like there is an issue with the .htaccess file which is not allowing you to view this. Could you remove the WPSecurity part of the .htaccess file?

Can you advise at all? I am a little worried as just installed your excellent plugin on all of my websites.

Hi simplysigns try the following before we go ahead to the next level and deactivate and delete the plugin.

You have to FTP into your sever and check your .htaccess file and remove any code in between and including the following tags:
    # BEGIN All In One WP Security
    # END All In One WP Security

    Regards
