404 error page

  • Events Manager plugin worked fine until just now: I changed a couple of settings (just by clicking a yes box instead of no box), saved – and the Events-page ceased to exist in the front end. Reversing the changes didn’t help.

    Is there any hope this would just go away as randomly as it occurred, or now what?

    can you try to resave permalinks under WP Settings > Permalinks ?

    I followed every suggestion I could find, no help.

    However, just 5 minutes ago I located the “Reset” button in Events Manager Settings –> Admin Tools (Advanced). [Reset – Use the buttons below to uninstall Events Manager completely from your system or reset Events Manager to original settings and keep your event data.]

    Not ideal, of course, as all settings modifications got lost, but at least now everything works!

    So, reset. That’s the answer from now on, should the situation repeat itself.
