404 Error-Page After Submission

On my latest WP-installation the following problem occurred : After submission of the form the page does not reload to show the success message, instead it gets redirected and the wp-404-error-page appears.
Because I tested the same installation with exactly the same preferences successfully and without any errors on two different servers, I presume that it is not your plugin but the server-settings that are causing this problem. (Host is 1&1 in Germany, php 5.6 with mod_rewrite active, MySQL 5.5, htaccess checked …)
Do you have any idea what could cause this kind of problem?
