404 Error / Private Page decision

  • Hey Everbody!

    I have a WP Site where some sites are set to private. When a non-logged-in user is now accessing this site, he gets a 404.

    But I want to do two different Sites. One for 404 and one for private page, so that users know they have to log in and subscribe for a membership.

    Any Idea how to do this? I tried to do an DB-Query in 404.php but on this stage i dont have the information about the requested page, or do I?
