404 error when clicking on activity link

  • Activities can be added in the normal way, and show up in calendar view, but whenever I click on a link to an event I get a 404 error. The activity text can be found by the search engine of the site, and is seen in the activity editor, but won’t show up otherwise. Inactivating and reactivating the plugin does not help.
