404 Error when importing demo content into the theme.

  • I tried copying my theme folder in wp-content and when am activating it its working perfectly. But when I am trying to import the demo xml content to my theme it comes 404 error and it says cant find demo content . I tried with different themes as well . But same result for everything . Please help regarding this .

  • Sounds like an issue with the xml file itself perhaps? You might try contacting the theme developer that provided the xml file? Also sometimes imports show errors on the import screen but the content actually appears once you look at some pages and posts, so I’d double check that as well.

    I tried with different theme as well . 4 to 5 themes. None worked . Same error is coming . Its redirects to 404 error page and telling that demo-content file is not found .
