404 error when not using default Permalink

Hi,

I guess many of the people here may have experienced this,when I change the permalink to any other from except the default one I get 404 page not found error,but when I revert it back to default everything is ok.

It’s posted in sticky post also,but still the temporary solution is not working.

Plz anybody help me.
