Everything was going well until I tried to preview the survey. I get an error message. I went through the documentation and checked everything. I copied the code recommended and put it in my htaccess file. Now I am getting a new error message (below) and my survey question editing page is not opening.

    Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at [no address given] to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I changed the htaccess code back to what it was and my survey showed up for about 20 minutes. I did a little bit of editing but now when I click the “preview” option it goes to the home page, so the error is gone, but the survey link goes to the homepage. Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Hello @reveal94 ,

I hope you are doing well.

Thanks for reaching out to us.

We understand you are facing an issue regarding previewing the survey and we’re here to assist you

To resolve this, kindly follow these steps:

    1. Quiz Settings: Please navigate to QSM -> Settings -> Main Settings. Quiz Archive Settings both options, “Disable Quiz Archive” and “Disable Quiz Public link,” should not be checked
    2. Flush Permalinks: In your WordPress admin, go to Settings -> Permalinks. Select “Post name” and save changes.
    3. Check for Cache Plugin: Please check if you have any cache plugins installed. If you do, avoid caching any QSM-related admin or quiz pages. Additionally, refrain from minifying QSM-generated scripts.
    4. Clear Browser History: After making these changes, clear your browser history.

We hope that these steps help resolve the issues you’re encountering.

If the issue persists please let us know and we will assist you further.

    Kind regards,
    Sumit
