404 Error when putting item into shopping basket

  • Hi,

    I have added custom fields to a product using the WC Fields Factory. I let these Fields appear on the product page. When you click “In den Warenkorb” (add to the shopping basket), the product will be added to the shopping basket correctly. However, the POST request yields with a 404 error. For a product without custom fields, this will not happen.

    I’m using the most recent versions (WP 4.4.2, WCFF 1.3.0).

    Any hints, also very rough ones, are very much appreciated.

    Hi, is there any possible to view the error_log.log file, where we can get any hints about this situation.

    thank you for your answer! No errors are logged, and I also cannot find anything using the WordPress 404 Debugger https://gist.github.com/soulseekah/2321074.

    However, your comment has motivated me to investigate a bit further.

    • The Post Variables are correct.
    • The 404 Error will not happen when I buy the product on the standard Woocommerce product page.
    • It does only happen when I crate the content type “Product Page” with the WPBakery Visual Composer and the commercial theme Agile.

    So – it’s not the plugin’s fault ?? If nevertheless you have some rough idea what could cause the strange problem, I’d be curious.

    I’ll report this as a bug to the developers of the Agile theme.
