404 Errors

Go to WP-Admin -> Ratings -> Ratings Options and save settings again. The folder has been changed as “(” and “)” is not valid file name for some OS

I have tried saving the Options several times, but if I navigate away, and then return to the Options, the “Ratings Image” radios are both unchecked again and the paths are incorrect.

I have v1.87 installed on WP v5.3.

Hmm. Cann you delete the whole wp-postratings folder, download it again https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-postratings.1.87.zip ?

Also, can check if you have this code in your theme functions.php?

function custom_rating_image_extension() {
    return 'png';
}
add_filter( 'wp_postratings_image_extension', 'custom_rating_image_extension' );

I’ve completely replaced the plugin files and tried with and without that filter – but still no luck.
