404 errors after automatic update of wordpress 4.0 to 4.0.1

Everything was fine till automatic update of wp from 4.0 to 4.0.1. My website’s homepage is opening fine but when I go to any post or pages, a complete blank (No header/sidebar/footer) 404 error page appears.
Right after I disable the plugin, everything act normal. What could be the issue? Please suggest.
