I’m getting 404 errors on event pages after updating to the latest version. I’ve tried rolling back the plugin (and WordPress), flushing permalinks/cache and I’m still getting the errors.

Related, I tried submitting this on the TEC support page but it doesn’t seem to be working.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • I had the exact same problem — however, I was able to resolve it with rolling back the plugin. (I also have Events Calendar Pro, which was updated at the same time, and the problem didn’t resolve until I rolled back both the free & premium plugins)

    I have the same problem!!

HELP !! I’m also getting 404 errors on event pages after updating to the latest version. I’ve tried rolling back the plugin (and WordPress), flushing permalinks/cache and I’m still getting the errors.

I rolled back the plugins (The base TEC plugin and the PRO plugin) and it seems to have fixed the problem…for now.

    Hi,

Sorry for the issues you are having. I can help out.

We have narrowed down the cause of the issue and a temporary fix is to disable this setting:

Settings > General Tab > “Recurring event instances”

This setting is only there if you have the Pro version.

From my tests when that is enabled the single events create a 404 error. When it is off, the single events work again.

That is a temporary fix until we can get a release out. I do not have specifics on the release yet, but I would imagine we are going to get one out today for this issue.

Let me know if that fixes the issue for you.

    Thanks

The PRO plugin was updated today and that issue is now fixed. As the issue is related to our paid plugin, if you still have issues after updating the plugin please contact our PRO support team on our website.

    Hi @sourceofthespring,

Since we haven’t heard from you in a while on this topic we will assume that the problem was fixed or is no longer applicable and with that I will mark this as resolved.

If that is not the case, please let us know and we will gladly remove the “Resolved” tag and try to help you further. Or you can create a new topic with the problem if you prefer.

    Best Regards,
    Abz
