HI, I seem to be having this error which is generating 300+ 404 errors

    <div class=”wt-cli-ccpa-element”> <a href=”javascript:void(0)”

“javascript” is removed from the href – thus, breaking the link. Therefore, the links containing void(0) are actually present on the website but the resource does not exist and it leads to 404 errors.

`I have loads of 404 errors on my website. I am using the latest version of the plugin.

    Thanks
    K

    Hi @kmud,

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

It could be the result of some HTML errors in the cookie banner message text. Could you please share the entire text from the Message text field under GDPR Cookie Consent > Settings > Customise Cookie Bar tab.

    Hi @kmud,

We couldn’t identify anything wrong in the HTML.

This may be a plugin or theme conflict. In order to identify the conflicting item, please try disabling all plugins, and switching to a default theme. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one to identify the source of the problem.

You can use the Health Check plugin to do this without affecting site visitors. On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in.
