404 errors when installing plugins/themes or using customize feature.

    I’m getting persistent 404 errors whenever I try and install plugins/themes, use customize feature or attempt to upgrade my wordpress installation. I have reinstalled wordpress multiple times and just did a manual update but the error still exists. I wass getting error 500 when I first installed wordpress, but when I updated my permalinks and a new .htaccess was generated I began to get 404 errors. I’m having this problem on two different hosts.
